Tuesday, January 26th. Alarm clock at 8:30 am, after a reserved night. We get ready fast made, as we can in a car then we quickly bring the car to the parking lot of the day before because if we arrive there before 9 am, we can buy a full-day ticket. But we do not stay there, we go from the road which rises in "Bob Peak ", the mountain which overhangs the city. We could reach it by cable railways, but for 20 NZD, we prefer to take some minutes furthermore and to rise to feet! The road has nothing extraordinary or of fascinating, it is the road of 4x4 that passes in the forest. At the beginning, it breaks well legs, it is stiff. At the end of 40 minutes, we arrive at the top. What a beautiful view! And then once again, the sun is there. We take advantage a little of this landscape then we are going to take a small chairlift to rise a little higher.

Above, it has a departure for sleds summer. It is not too expensive, Nadège would like to try because she has never made it. To go, it left for a small tour. This has nothing to do with the free-fall, but we have fun well all the same! We take then the way back and we cross a lot of people which rises on the road, but they do not look like been very used nor motivated! Before taking back the road direction Te Anau, we make a small tour in the supermarket, and we are going to finish our hours of internet. And it left. As usual, we cross magnificent landscapes, always more stickers with the sun. We stop to eat in front of the lake and the mountains. We do not linger too much even if it is magnificent but the wind blows hardly, it is not very pleasant. We pursue quietly our road until Te Anau.

We arrive there late in the afternoon, there is not much to make. As many cities, there is a lake close. We thus settle on a parking lot by the lake, a little taken away from the city center. There are very beautiful colors with the sun which lies down little by little. Before going to bed, small film! But there, towards the end of the film, a car arrives and a lad comes to see us. He explains us that here it is forbidden to camp, even in a car. It is necessary to set off to go out of the city and sleep on the edge. Cool … Well, one finished all the same the film, then we go away. At the end of about ten minutes, we find a road which goes away slightly from the road. There is already a campervan and a caravan. It is not the ideal, well, we make with; for a new night in the car.
